The Dinner Party for the 2000 Monroe Baseball Team at Frankie & Johnny's
Pine Tavern, 1913 Bronxdale Avenue was a HUGE SUCCESS !!!
Thanks to the support of Monroe Alumni members Steve Siegel (1960), Arnold
Penner (1954) and Ira Kofsky (1965), the dinner went off without a hitch!
Special guests included Max Taub, Sam Tolfkoff, and Bronx Boro President
Fernando Ferrer.
A video of the event, featuring footage of Coach Mike Turo presenting awards
to team members and speeches by various Alumni members, will soon be
available for $20.
